Richard Effress Rich has been an entrepreneur, operator and investor since 1992 and is the sole principal of Integris, LLC. Previously, Rich co- founded and served as Chairman and CEO of MedSource Technologies, Inc., a leading global provider of manufacturing and engineering services and supply chain management solutions to the medical device industry. As a founding partner of Kidd & Company, Rich participated in the development and growth of Chatham Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of custom electronic enclosure systems for the communications industry founded by the firm. Chatham grew to over $500 million in sales and 3,000 people, and was sold to Flextronics International Ltd. (NASDAQ:FLEX). Rich received a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, summa cum laude, and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar. Eric Goorno Eric most recently served as President of Boston Scientific’s Urology and Gynecology business, a $400 million division, where he had full P+L responsibility. His division led Boston Scientific with a 14% overall revenue growth rate while leveraging the business with a 21% increase in operating income. In his previous role Eric was in charge of the division’s New Business Development and Strategic Planning functions. He led the division’s successful entry into two new markets and developed new partnerships which were key to driving the division’s growth rate from 7% to 20%. Eric has also had a number of operations roles, running both start-up, mature and multiple production and R+D facilities for both Boston Scientific and Synthes. Eric received a B.A. from Tufts University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Adrian Lock Adrian joined SANUWAVE as vice president of sales and marketing in March 2006. He has remained with the veterinary business through its acquisition by PulseVet® and has been promoted to chief operating officer. Adrian’s extensive medical sales and marketing background began as a sales representative with Snowden-Pencer in 1992. After consistently achieving top sales awards Adrian was promoted into marketing management, and reached the position of marketing director with Genzyme in 1998. As director of global marketing for CryoLife, Adrian oversaw the highly successful launch of BioGlue® Surgical Adhesive in 2001. When Adrian left CryoLife to join SANUWAVE in 2006, BioGlue was globally recognized as the leading surgical adhesive used in cardiovascular surgery. Prior to entering the medical sales and marketing field, Adrian qualified as a nuclear engineer officer and served two tours aboard fast attack submarines with the United States Navy. Adrian received a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University.
C. Wayne McIlwraith, BVSc (DVM), PhD, FRCVS, DSc, DACVS Scientific Advisor An internationally-recognized leader in the field of equine orthopedic research and surgery, Dr. McIlwraith provides ongoing counsel on the clinical research and business development of the company’s family of regenerative shock wave and PRP technologies. Dr. McIlwraith is a Diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS), as well as the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation (ACVSMR). He is a past-president ofthe ACVS, the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP), and of the Veterinary Orthopaedic Society (VOS). He is currently a University Distinguished Professor, holds the Barbara Cox Anthony Endowed Chair in Orthopaedics and is the Director of the Orthopaedic Research Center at Colorado State University. He consults worldwide as a specialist equine surgeon and has received national and international media attention for his contributions to joint research. He has authored or co-authored over 300 referred publications, over 50 textbook chapters and has presented 570 seminars or lectures both nationally and internationally to equine practitioners, veterinary specialty meetings and human orthopedic meetings.
